Summer Workshop for Children

Each workshop will consist of two Tuesdays a month. On the first Tuesday, we will build our pottery; on the second Tuesday we will glaze our pieces. Each workshop will cost $25.

Beginning and Intermediate

Ceramics for Children

$125 ($110 members)

An exlploration of clay, pottery techniques, and the tools in the studio; this is a class for beginning and intermediate students.  Students will finish the class with glazed ceramic pieces to take home and enjoy!  Class size is limited to five.

Ceramics for Adults

Mondays for 6 weeks, 6:00-8:00

Students will begin or continue to refine their skills in various hand building techniques, wheel projects, and glaze explorations. Included with registration is access to the Open Studio for the duration of the class and one bag of clay.

Handbuilding with Clay

...an introduction to Ceramic Sculpture

Wednesdays, 10/8--11/12, 6:00-8:00

Students will learn the fundamentals of sculpting with ceramics beginning with coil and slab assembly.  25lbs. of clay, glazes and all firings will be included.  There will be at least one Raku firing for interested students.

Come play with clay! During independent study hours, the studio is open for your use. No instruction but ceramic studio staff will be present to answer questions.
